Teens

Being a teenager can feel complicated. You may be trying to figure out who you are, manage changing relationships, navigate school or family pressures, or make sense of emotions that sometimes feel overwhelming. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, down, or going through something that is difficult to put into words. Therapy can offer a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out: a place to slow down, feel understood, and explore what you’re experiencing without judgment.

I work with teens in a collaborative and supportive way, helping them better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships while developing greater confidence and a sense of agency. I pay attention to the ways family, friendships, identity, culture, and the larger world shape a young person’s experience. When appropriate, I also work with parents and caregivers to support their teen while respecting the teen’s growing independence and creating space for their voice. My goal is to help teens feel more able to navigate the challenges of growing into who they are.
